Updates to Connections Between Turku and Helsinki

The routes and schedules between Helsinki and Turku were significantly updated on December 30, 2024. The goal of these changes is to provide smoother and more diverse travel options for different customer groups. Travel times are now shorter and more consistent across different routes. Additionally, the selection now includes a completely non-stop Helsinki–Turku connection as well as a frequently operating route via Meilahti and Salo.

The East-Salo stops will remain on our routes, including Muurla th, Tupuri th, Pahkavuori, Muurlan tulli, and Salo Hermanni on routes OB12 and OB15.

As part of these updates, OB11 route services (Turku-Kaarina-Espoo-Helsinki) will now stop at the Saukkola interchange (road 1072, Tavolantie ramp).

At the same time, the validity of Matkahuolto's season and series tickets has been expanded. These ticket products can now be used for all Turku-Helsinki route services.
