Student discount helps you save money

Students get a discount with OnniBus

The highly requested student discount is finally available! Students with a valid Finnish student ID can now enjoy an incredible discount on all OnniBus-operated trips!

HOW TO USE THE DISCOUNT

1. Choose the 'STUDENT DISCOUNT' option in the drop-down menu or use the code 'STUDENT'.
2. Find a suitable trip and purchase your ticket.
3. Show your student ID to the driver during the ticket check.
   
   Students in Lapland also get a discount with a valid student card. The discount is valid only on OnniBus routes OB42 and OB43. Please be prepared to show proof of eligibility for the discount.

We only accept student cards that have one of the following logos:

• Matkahuolto
• ESN (Erasmus Student Network)

The discount is only valid on OnniBus-operated trips. Please note that there are other operators' trips available on the OnniBus ticket store that the discount does not apply to.

You can get the discount by selecting it from the drop-down menu on the 'Discount' tab during the ticket purchase or by typing 'STUDENT' in the campaign code field in the mobile app. You can get the student discount by requesting it when purchasing tickets from R-kioski.

Terms and conditions

• We accept physical and digital student IDs with the Matkahuolto logo.
• The student ID will always be shown and verified during the ticket check.
• Every passenger must show their student card if the reservation includes several tickets purchased with a student discount.
• The student ID must be valid at the time of ticket check.
• The student ID must have a valid date stamp.
• Student tickets cannot be discounted when purchased from the driver.
• The discount is only applicable to OnniBus trips. The OnniBus ticket store has other operators' trips available for purchase.
• The discount percentages vary between 10-25% depending on the day of travel.
