Öllövelli is the largest student spring event in Oulu. Held in mid-April, it can be considered the first May Day celebration of the season. This pub crawl event gathers over a thousand students in the center of Oulu to enjoy the fantastic atmosphere and good spring weather. The idea of the pub crawl is to visit restaurants and bars marked in a performance passport in any chosen order. Stamps are collected in the passport from the products of the event's official checkpoint bars and restaurants. After the pub crawl, the tradition continues with afterparties. At each afterparty location, some of the brightest stars of our country entertain the crowd. In 2024, Öllövelli's afterparties will be celebrated in three venues.
