Bring your package to the bus and arrange a pick-up yourself at the bus stop of your choice
OnniPikalahetys is a new innovative service that transports your package from stop to stop quickly and easily.
Do you need fast and affordable goods transportation? You can also arrange to bring the goods to the bus yourself and pick them up at the designated stop from the bus driver? Our pilot service, the parcel delivery service, is perfect for your needs in that case. You can leave your shipment to be transported on our bus, and we will deliver it to the stop indicated on the ticket. The service price is dynamically determined in the typical OnniBus way. This means you can find a reasonable price for express delivery if you book it in advance.
Here's how it works. Please remember to carefully read the instructions, transportation terms, and rules before booking and using our new express delivery service.
SENDING A PACKAGE
- Express delivery size limit: 20 kg and a total dimension of no more than 158 cm (e.g., length 58 cm, width 50 cm, and height 50 cm).
- Create and ensure you have an OnniBus user account, and make sure your correct details are in the settings.
- Do a search for a direct connection and add a one-person regular fare (no discount) ticket to your cart. You recognize the OnniPikalähetys service from the small
icon of the service.
- In your shopping cart, add the OnniPikalähetys delivery service. Do not add any other extra service.
- Make your booking and take note of the reservation number; it will be written on the express delivery and provided to the package collector.
- Ensure that the shipment includes clearly and durably:
- Reservation number
- Bus stop of the destination the city's name
- Recipient's first name and phone number
- Sender's first name and phone number
- Arrive on time at the bus stop to deliver the express shipment. We recommend being there 15 minutes before the departure time. Keep an eye on traffic announcements.
- Show the bus driver your ticket and the express delivery reservation number, and hand over the shipment for transport.
You can also fill out, print, and attach the shipment information form to your shipment. Remember to fill out all the sections.

PICKING UP A PACKAGE
- Pass the reservation number to the package collector. The package will only be handed over in exchange for the reservation number.
- Provide the package collector with the exact location of the bus stop.
- Guide the package collector to arrive at the stop on time, and we recommend 15 minutes before the estimated arrival time.
- Follow traffic updates. It's rare but possible for routes to run 10-30 minutes late.
- The package collector must stop the bus by waving and signaling, just as if they were getting on board.
- When the bus arrives, the collector should wait for the driver to first deliver the passengers' luggage.
- The driver will hand over the shipment to the collector only in exchange for the reservation number.
- Our service won't wait or make exceptions for express delivery, and it will continue its journey if the collector is not present.
PLEASE NOTE THESE THINGS
- Our buses may be delayed, and we will inform you of any delays via text message, email, and/or traffic announcements. Therefore, please make sure your name, phone number, and email address are correctly entered in your booking.
- When picking up the shipment, follow the same rules as if you were a passenger. For example, at the Helsinki Kamppi bus terminal, the transported goods are brought from the bus to the terminal using carts. So, please wait for the package on the terminal side, not on the departure platforms.
- You can find the arrival platforms of Helsinki Kamppi center bus station at gates 29-35.
- We do not transport express shipments for onward connections. Please book a one-way journey without a connection to another bus.
- The express delivery reservation includes a bus ticket. You can, of course, board the bus and take your seat, but in that case, you are responsible for your luggage going in the cargo hold, and it is no longer an express delivery but a normal travel reservation.
- Express delivery slots are currently limited and available on selected OnniBus and partner routes in our bus ticket store.
- Package and protect the shipment carefully.
- We recommend taking out insurance for all shipments.
