A season ticket means unlimited travel for 30 days. Both are always cheapest in the OnniBus online shop. Buying is pretty easy Step 1 Create an account Go to the OnniBus multi-ride and season ticket shop and register. Note: this account is separate from My Account on onnibus.com. Step 2 Choose your ticket and pay Select your route and ticket type, then complete the payment online. Step 3 Check your email Your digital ticket and order confirmation arrive in your inbox straight away. Step 4 Show your QR code Open the QR code in your account and show it to the ticket reader when boarding. Screenshots won’t work — the code updates regularly. You can safely buy it well in advance — the clock doesn’t start until you board. Can I use a multi-ride ticket to pay for someone else? ▼ Multi-ride ticket: yes — you can pay for a travel companion at the same time. Season ticket: no — it’s personal and only valid for your own trip. We recommend buying only one ticket product at a time, as each account has just one QR code. Is a seat guaranteed? ▼ No. Seat bookings aren’t included with multi-ride or season tickets — you can sit in any free seat when you board. If you want to choose your seat in advance, that’s possible with a single ticket. Do these tickets earn OnniEtu? ▼ No. OnniEtu is OnniBus’ loyalty programme for single tickets: buy 10 single tickets and get the 11th trip free. Multi-ride and season ticket journeys don’t count towards this. Can I use a Matkahuolto multi-ride or season ticket on OnniBus? ▼ Yes. Multi-ride and season tickets bought via Matkahuolto, as well as Kela school travel subsidy tickets, are valid on OnniBus. Keep in mind that passengers with single tickets have priority boarding. Why do I need to create a new account? ▼ The multi-ride and season ticket shop and the single-ticket shop are separate systems.
