OnniBus - Volvo - Talvi - Winter

The year 2025 will bring new options for the travelers

The year 2025 brings several updates to OnniBus services. On this page, we’ve compiled the most significant changes.

The MEGA and FLEX concepts will be discontinued, and from now on, OnniBus is simply OnniBus, regardless of whether the bus has one or two decks. At the same time, we will begin rotating single- and double-decker buses more widely across our network. This change aims to achieve two main goals and will be implemented gradually during 2025.

1. Broader service offerings for different customer groups. Pets and bicycles will continue to travel conveniently on single-decker buses, while double-decker buses will provide features like wheelchair spaces and the stunning, popular panoramic seats at the front of the upper deck.

2. More flexibility in allocating buses based on demand. Without concept-related restrictions, we can better assign the appropriately sized bus to different routes and schedules depending on customer demand.

🗓️ Where can I find schedules and prices?

You can find all routes and their schedules on the schedule pages. However, it's easier to find a suitable departure by using the trip search. In early December, all OnniBus routes will be available for booking for the period from 30.12.2024 to 1.6.2025.

🤔 What’s new and special?

OnniBus routes are now easier to recognize through the bus operator icon, route numbers, and service icons on the ticket store. The route numbers have been updated. Frequent travelers should resolve their new route numbers.

🚍 How do I recognize the bus operator and bus?

You can continue to find both OnniBus and other operators' bus services on the OnniBus ticket store. A new operator, Koiviston Auto, will start, and its services mainly operate local traffic. You can easily recognize single-decker and double-decker buses through the trip search, shopping cart, and booking confirmation.

🐶 Can I bring a dog or bike?

Dogs and bikes are still welcome on single-decker buses. Check the service icons in the trip search for additional service options and add your desired service to the shopping cart.

🧳 How many checked bags can I bring?
From now on, the number of checked bags on both single- and double-decker buses will be 1 bag, weighing a maximum of 20 kilograms. When making a reservation, you can add any additional luggage at a lower price. When buying from the driver, additional luggage always has a higher price and not be available depending on how fully booked the bus is. In addition, you can also take a small piece of hand luggage.
