Lohja is located in Southern Finland, just over half an hour's drive from Helsinki. The city of Lohja celebrates its 700th birthday and a four-day celebration was held in August 2023. On the main celebration day, 12.8., well-known Finnish artists Juha Lehti, Elias Kaskinen, Antti Ketonen and Sanni performed. The city is known for its beautiful lake scenery. One of the most interesting tourist attractions is the over 100-year-old Tytyri Mine Experience, which is still in operation. The mine can be explored at a depth of almost 100 meters.
