Itä-Salo stops starting from January 6th, 2025

Based on customer feedback, OnniBus has decided to make a change to the updated route network and reintroduce the Itä-Salo (East Salo) stops on the Turku and Helsinki routes OB12 and OB15.

Starting January 6th, you will again be able to travel smoothly from the Hermanni, Muurlan tulli, Pahkavuori, Tupuri, and Muurla stops to Turku, Helsinki, and Helsinki-Vantaa Airport.

As a result, the use of these stops will continue, and changes were made on a quick timeline to provide smoother bus connections for a wider customer base. You can purchase tickets for these stops through OnniBus's ticket store by selecting Salo's bus station (Salon linja-autoasema) as your stop in the travel search.

Here’s how to book your trip successfully:

1. Search for your ticket from Turku to Helsinki via our ticket store.

2. Select Salon linja-autoasema as your departure or arrival stop if you are boarding at one of the following stops: Salo Hermanni, Muurlan tulli, Pahkavuori, Tupuri th, or Muurla th.

3. Board at any of the mentioned Salo stops. The bus driver will stop on your signal and accept your ticket, even if it states Salon linja-autoasema.

4. If you want to get off before Salon linja-autoasema, press the STOP button during the trip.

Customers can continue purchasing tickets with Matkahuolto series and seasonal tickets, or by buying tickets from the driver. Series and seasonal tickets will now be valid for all departures between Turku and Helsinki.
