Those who enjoy snow sports can enjoy the services of Levi ski resort in many ways. The largest investment for the skiing season is seen on the north-eastern slopes of Levi, where slope 6.1 is twice as wide as before. And thanks to the new snow system, the popular slopes 6.1 and 6.2 will be opened even earlier. The slopes at Alpine Training Park have also been designed and expanded to better serve alpine skiing enthusiasts. The goal of Levi Ski Resort is to open Finland's longest terrain park area, Levi South Park, as early as the end of November. The ground in the park has been improved during the summer, which reduces the need for snowmaking. - The Park area will be even more extensive. In addition, we invest especially in the comfort of families on the slopes, comments Marko Mustonen, Business Director of Levi Ski Resort. Learn to ski safely at the ski school Levi Ski School offers both beginner lessons and more experienced courses. This winter Levi Ski School will be able to develop skills and hone techniques in the form of themed trainings. In themed trainings for adults, you can get acquainted with techniques such as alpine skiing, snowboarding, telemark or downhill skiing. The ski school also offers lessons in freestyle. For example, Levi's team member Arto “Ape” Majava runs various freeride courses during the winter. Private lessons are also available every day, and Levi's own personal trainers will customize lessons based on your needs and wishes. - At the ski school, we launched so-called theme trainings, which were created around the topics that are most in demand in ski school. Theme trainings are especially suitable for developing your own calculation skills and honing technology. Cross-country skiing in skating style training goes through various skating techniques, among other things, while downhill skiing works particularly well to develop downhill skills. Leevi's downhill skiing club is also one of the new features of the season, which is aimed at children who already have skiing skills, who especially need practice in downhill skiing, giving parents the opportunity to go skiing in the meantime, says Minna Nevalainen, head of Levi's ski school.
