Traveling with children goes smoothly on OnniBus when you consider a few things in advance. This ensures everyone has the most comfortable journey and we avoid any unpleasant surprises. The following guidelines apply to the own routes of OnniBus. Small children and babies Every passenger, including small children, must have their own seat reserved. For safety reasons, a child cannot travel on an adult's lap. If the child is too young to sit independently, a safety seat must be brought along. We transport foldable strollers and prams in the cargo hold at no extra charge. It is advisable to protect the pram with a transport bag during the journey. Book your trip Older children and teens OnniBus has no minimum age requirement for children traveling alone. While the bus driver cares for all passengers, guardians should note that the driver is not responsible for supervising children on the bus. Children are under the guardian's responsibility while traveling alone. The same rules apply to all of the OnniBus routes. We recommend reserving seats on the lower deck for children on double-decker routes at seats 54, 53, 58, 57, 83, 82, 85, or 84. The seats are marked on the accompanying map. We generally recommend using a safety seat for children under 135 cm in height on bus trips. However, please note that we cannot guarantee the suitability of the seat for the reserved place. Safety seats come in different sizes and models. OnniBus's network operates around 200 buses with varying manufacturers, models, and seat dimensions. For example, a safety seat that takes up space for two seats cannot be used. OnniBus single-decker and double-decker routes can be identified by a small logo in the Operator section of the travel search. Check the operator's own rules for traveling with children if you are traveling with our partner. Book your trip Print or write a child Pass A child travels under the guardian's responsibility and does not need a permission document from OnniBus. However, we recommend giving your child two child passes: one for the driver and one for the child. The child pass does not need to be printed; it can also be handwritten. It should include the following information: Child's name and age Guardian's name and phone number Phone number of the person meeting the child Travel route and date Guardian's signature Additionally, Consider the Following Points OnniBus does not provide care or supervision for children, so children must be able to take care of themselves during the trip. Our driver advises the children as much as possible. You should choose a place as close as possible to the driver if the child needs help, for example, getting off at the right stop. It is advisable to bring your own snacks for the trip. Also, ensure you have enough water. Our buses have restrooms. Our buses have wireless internet, so the child can bring a tablet or other activities for the trip. This way, the time on the bus does not feel too long, and the child can stay seated. Unnecessary movement should be avoided during the trip, as the use of seat belts is mandatory. Welcome aboard the red buses – OnniBus offers suitable trips for all ages! Monitor Your Child's Journey Digitally Mobile device users have the option to track the user's location.
